

The surviving pages of the world's oldest biblical manuscript have been reunited digitally in a single book. Today, the famous Codex Sinaiticus, which was written some 16 centuries ago, is available to everyone on the Internet. Codex Sinaiticus is one of the most important ancient manuscripts of the Greek Bible. It was written in the 4th century.
It was discovered in 1844 by the German archaeologist Constantin von Tischendorf during his visit to Monastery of Saint Catherine, Sinai. Additional 12 fragments have been discovered in 1975. Most of it is today in the British Library.
