

A new species of the stonefly genus Nemoura has been discovered in Central Italy. The authors Romolo Fochetti, of the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Viterbo, Italy and Gilles Vincon report their discovery in the current (1 September) issue of Zootaxa.
The species was dubbed Nemoura sabina and belongs to the Nemoura flexuosa-marginata species group and had previously been confused with N. flexuosa.
The genus Nemoura includes more than 100 known species from the Holarctic and Oriental regions.
The paper is titled 'A new species of Nemoura (Plecoptera: Nemouridae) from Central Italy.'
