Medical College of Georgia

In 1828 the Medical Academy of Georgia was chartered by the state of Georgia with plans to offer a single course of lectures leading to a bachelor's degree. The Medical College of Georgia is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award one-year and advanced certificates and degrees at the baccalaureate, master's, first professional, and doctoral levels. All eligible academic programs maintain accreditation by the appropriate specialised accrediting bodies.
